Breighton Steuer
Owner/Stylist
Early in her career, Breighton dreamed of becoming a graphic designer. After a few years of attending Quinsigamond Community College and many hours spent behind a computer, she realized this was not her path. She knew it was time for a change and started taking classes at Rob Roy Academy. She graduated in 2003 and immediately landed a job with a close family friend at Michelle’s Full-Service Salon and that’s where her career as a stylist took off. She worked at Michelle’s for 19 years and with hard work and sacrifice, her dream of owning a salon came true. In 2022, Breighton took over as owner of the salon which she renamed Mane Street Beauty LLC. Her goal is to give clients a relaxing space to come and unwind and help them look and feel their best.
Michelle McKeon
Stylist
Since she was a young girl, Michelle knew she wanted to be a hair stylist. She would go to the salon with her mother every week and watch as her hair was styled. She attended Leo’s Beauty Institute in 1978, and upon graduation started working for Rosemarie Larson (Rea) in East Brookfield. Rea was her mom’s hairdresser, and she was a longtime mentor to Michelle. Michelle wanted to open her own salon, with the help of many family members and friends, Michelle’s Full-Service Salon was opened in March of 2000. In 2022, she made the choice to step down as owner but to continue to work behind the chair, part-time, to serve her many clients. She believes there is always something new to learn even after 44 years as a cosmetologist. She continues to enjoy the challenge of helping her clients chose what style works for them, not only what compliments them, but for what works for their lifestyle.
